Kelly Nunemaker, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a kind and talented nurse practitioner who has been practicing medicine since 2010. She provides patients with effective treatment options at Family Medical Home in San Antonio, Texas.
Kelly was born and raised in Central Virginia and moved to San Antonio in 2011. She graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 2014. She stayed at the University of the Incarnate Word for their doctoral program, graduating with her doctorate in nursing practice in 2017 after completing her family practice clinical residency at Family Medical Home.
In her practice at Family Medical Home, Kelly is passionate about educating her patients and equipping them with the necessary tools to keep themselves healthy. She has deep experience in a wide range of medical settings, including neonatal, pediatric, and adult care. Kelly is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
One of Kelly’s hopes is to raise awareness of preventable diseases in her community with evidence-based quality care. When she’s not working with patients, Kelly likes to read, go to the movies, and spend time with her family.
